DayTraders

United Statesdaytraders.com

DayTraders is a U.S.-based futures trader evaluation company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, established in 2023. Rather than a single challenge model, it runs five distinct account structures: Trail (Full/Trailing), EOD, Static, S2F (Straight to Funded), and S2L (Straight to Live), giving traders a choice between traditional evaluations, an instant simulated-funded route, and a direct path toward live-market trading. Evaluation and Pro accounts trade on simulated capital connected via Rithmic across an unusually wide platform roster (Bookmap, Sierra Chart, Quantower, MotiveWave, Jigsaw, Finamark, ATAS, VolFix, WealthCharts, and R Trader Pro), while the S2L pathway leads to a live account running on ONYX, with Quantower, ATAS, MotiveWave, EdgeProX, Sierra Chart, and Bookmap also usable at the live stage where the trader already holds a license; NinjaTrader and Tradovate are not supported for live accounts. Trail, EOD, and Static accounts pay 100% of simulated profit on the current Pro stage, subject to payout caps, an 8-qualifying-day cadence, and a 30% funded consistency rule (50% during evaluation); S2F skips the evaluation entirely and pays out under a 20% consistency rule with 10 qualifying days; S2L leads to a live account paying an 80/20 split with daily payouts and no live-stage consistency requirement. Automated trading, bots, hedging, and martingale sizing are prohibited across the board, but news trading and dollar-cost averaging are both permitted, and DayTraders does not force positions closed at day's end, leaving open positions exposed to mark-to-market adjustment against the drawdown instead. Live-account progression from S2L is based on performance and risk review and is not guaranteed. Rithmic-connected accounts carry a published round-turn commission schedule, so trading is not universally commission-free despite promotional offers that may suggest otherwise.

Payment Methods

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • PayPal

Payment methods above apply to purchasing a Challenge, Pro, S2F, or S2L account. Payout method is a separate matter: DayTraders processes payouts through Plane, and traders must complete Plane's setup and verification before receiving a payout.

Pros & Cons

CREDITS11

  • Broad futures-market coverage: FX, metals, indices, energy, bonds, and agricultural futures
  • Exceptional platform coverage, including Bookmap, Sierra Chart, Quantower, MotiveWave, Jigsaw, ATAS, VolFix, Finamark, and WealthCharts
  • Five account structures (Trail, EOD, Static, S2F, S2L) covering different drawdown and funding preferences
  • S2F allows traders to skip the evaluation and begin in a simulated funded account immediately
  • S2L provides a direct route toward real live trading
  • 100% simulated profit share on current Pro and S2F accounts, subject to payout rules and caps
  • Live accounts use an 80/20 split with daily payouts and no live-stage consistency requirement
  • News trading and dollar-cost averaging are both permitted
  • Static accounts provide a fixed drawdown rather than a real-time trailing one
  • Up to 15 funded accounts and 15 evaluation accounts may be held simultaneously, with up to 5 S2F accounts within the funded total
  • No requirement to close positions at the end of the trading session

DEBITS12

  • Automated trading, EAs, and bots are prohibited
  • Hedging is prohibited both within and across accounts
  • Evaluation accounts carry a 50% consistency requirement; Pro funded accounts use 30%, S2F uses 20%
  • S2F requires 10 qualifying trading days for payouts; Pro accounts require 8 qualifying trading days between requests
  • Payout caps limit the amount that can be withdrawn per request, and larger accounts require maintaining a substantial balance after withdrawal
  • Mark-to-market exposure can breach an account's drawdown even when no position was automatically liquidated
  • Trading is subject to a fixed daily session window (6:00 PM-5:00 PM ET)
  • Monthly/30-day inactivity requirements can affect low-frequency traders
  • Maximum contract sizes vary substantially between programs, and S2L/live accounts use materially smaller limits than the corresponding evaluation account
  • Rithmic-connected accounts carry published per-contract commissions, so trading is not universally commission-free
  • Live-account progression from S2L is discretionary and not guaranteed
  • The five-program structure results in a relatively complex rule set to compare

Trading Rules

  • Five program formats: Trail (Full/Trailing), EOD, Static, S2F (Straight to Funded), and S2L (Straight to Live)
  • Evaluation accounts generally use a 50% consistency limit; no single trading day may exceed 50% of total simulated profits
  • Pro funded accounts (Trail/EOD/Static) use a 30% consistency rule; S2F uses a 20% consistency limit per payout cycle; S2L evaluation accounts use a 25% consistency limit, with no consistency rule once live
  • Traders may hold up to 15 evaluation accounts and up to 15 funded accounts in total, with a maximum of 5 S2F accounts within the funded-account total
  • News trading is permitted across evaluation and funded accounts, including during major economic releases
  • Automated trading, EAs, bots, and algorithmic/high-frequency trading are prohibited; trading must be manual and human-driven
  • Hedging is prohibited both within and across accounts
  • Martingale position sizing is prohibited
  • Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is allowed under current evaluation and Pro rules
  • A trading day runs from 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET the following day
  • Monthly accounts must trade at least once within each 30-day billing cycle; Lifetime accounts require four qualifying trading days during a rolling 30-day period
  • Positions are not automatically closed at the end of the session; traders may hold positions overnight or over the weekend, but remain exposed to mark-to-market adjustments that can breach the drawdown
  • Transition from S2L into live trading is based on performance and risk review and is not guaranteed
  • Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada; service is described as being for non-professional traders, with evaluation and simulated funded products explicitly not real-money accounts

Restricted strategies

Expert advisors, bots, and algorithmic/automated tradingHedging (within or across accounts)Martingale position sizing

Dollar-cost averaging is explicitly allowed despite the hedging and martingale prohibitions, and news trading carries no timing restriction, distinguishing DayTraders' rule set from firms that require flattening before scheduled releases.

News trading

  • All account typesAllowed

News trading is allowed across evaluation and funded accounts, including through major Tier 1 releases, with no requirement to flatten positions beforehand. The firm warns that news can still produce increased volatility, slippage, and unfavorable fills.

Payouts & Trading Costs

Payout frequency
Trail, EOD and Static (Pro) accounts require a minimum of 8 qualifying trading days between payout requests; S2F requires 10 qualifying trading days with the payout target resetting after each approved withdrawal; S2L live accounts (Core/Edge/Ultra) offer daily payout eligibility once live-account conditions are met.
Processing time
Same day; average ~32 minutes
Profit split
Up to 100% — 100% simulated profit share applies on current Pro (Trail/EOD/Static) and S2F accounts, subject to payout caps, qualifying days, balance requirements, and consistency rules. The S2L evaluation itself is priced at an 80% split; once a trader passes S2L and completes live documentation, the resulting live account (Core/Edge/Ultra) pays a fixed 80/20 split with daily payouts and no consistency requirement.
Payout routing
Payouts are processed through Plane, the firm's payout provider; traders must complete Plane account setup and required verification before receiving payouts.
Minimum withdrawal
$500 minimum payout request on Pro (Trail/EOD/Static) and S2F accounts.
Trading costs
Rithmic-connected evaluation and Pro accounts carry published round-turn commissions: $3.98 on ES/NQ/YM/RTY/EMD/NKD, $4.72 on 6A/6B/6C/6E/6J/6S/6N, and $5.58 on HE/LE. These published rates should be used rather than treating DayTraders futures trading as universally commission-free, since promotional commission-free offers may appear separately on sales pages. · Commission figures above are the firm's current published Rithmic round-turn schedule and should be treated separately from any temporary promotional commission-free offer.

Traders should pay particular attention to the consistency percentage, minimum qualifying days, payout caps, post-withdrawal balance requirements, contract limits, mark-to-market exposure, inactivity rules, and manual-trading requirement before selecting a program, and should treat live-account progression as discretionary rather than guaranteed.
